Robert JacksonEach volume of Thoughts (Book One, Book Two, Book Three and Book Four) is a collection of 25 to 30 essays on a variety of topics and subject matter.
For the past two decades, Robert Jackson's primary "hobby" has been writing down his thoughts and ideas on various issues. Several of his essays are about things that have happened in his life, but more often they express his ideas and feelings on different issues, some of which are quite serious, some less so. Robert was born in Alabama and has resided in the Warner Robins, Georgia, area for the past 25 years. During his first 18 years, he lived in many places in Alabama, Florida and Georgia (his father was a Methodist minister, and the family moved whenever he was reassigned to another church). After attending Middle Georgia College in Cochran, Robert joined the Air Force and traveled widely during the next 20-plus years. He met his late wife in England. One of their daughters now lives in Warner Robins and the other in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Robert, who is retired, leads what he calls "a quiet and peaceful life." He has written many essays, which are collected in four volumes. He says there may still be another book to come but that it is years away from being finished. Beyond that, he plans to continue to write as new ideas come to him and to enjoy life in the meantime. |
