Paul G. Tremewan
In My Mind: A Faith Journey Through Rough Seas
A book of poems and "little stories" written by the late Paul Tremewan, with a Prologue by his son, Rob Tremewan, and an Epilogue by his special friend, Gloria Tibbetts.
Although Paul Tremewan was afflicted with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), and he was realistic about the impossibility of surviving the disease, his poems, which were written during the last two years of his life, are in no way morbid or depressing. On the contrary, not only are they inspiring but they are also quite insightful.
Here is what Rob Tremewan says about his dad in his Introduction to the book: "While his body was failing, his mind was still quite sharp, and now with his mortality dominating his thoughts, he wrote poems and little stories. The poems were written to capture his thoughts, his emotions and prayers. He wrote stories to capture and share funny and poignant experiences for posterity. He wrote until he could write no more."
